In the Central Valley we pride ourselves on growing our community. One of the keys ways our valley can continue to rise is through education. Educators play such an important role in shaping the minds of the next generation. That is why KSEE24 celebrates 36 educators a year with Educator of the Week.
“Our KSEE24 Educator of the Week series is now in its seventh year and we’ve had the privilege of honoring over 250 exemplary educators since its inception.
It’s been said that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” No matter whether you’re a parent, a student or an employer, there is no doubt that education is transformative and is key to generating more college and career ready graduates. It’s a difference maker for our community and region; it’s a difference maker for each student.
Many factors contribute to a student’s academic performance, including individual characteristics and family and neighborhood experiences. But research proves that, among school-related factors, teachers matter most.
Great teachers create great outcomes and that’s why KSEE24 is proud to spotlight stories of excellence in education and the impact in our community. There are so many great stories across the Central Valley. At KSEE24, we know that Education Matters.”
– Matthew Rosenfeld, Vice President & General Manager for KSEE-NBC 24 / KGPE-CBS 47
At the end of the academic year, KSEE24 honors the Educator of the Week recipients at the Kremen School of Education and Human Development’s Teachers and Friends of Education Honor Wall.
